Cylix to develop online planner for new ITQ qualification

Ufi has chosen Cylix to develop a sophisticated online planner for the new ITQ qualification.
ITQ is a flexible IT user qualification that can be tailored to meet the needs of specific individuals and organisations. It's benchmarked to the e-skills National Occupational Standards for IT Users and is assessed on evidence produced through undertaking tasks in the workplace.
The planner will include learning resources, diagnostic utilities and scheduling tools that will enable candidates to:
- Get up to speed with the structure and requirements of the ITQ qualification.
- Choose the most appropriate units and overall level of qualification.
- Plan the tasks they will undertake in order to demonstrate competence in each of the units.
- Track their progress towards achieving the qualification.
The ITQ planner is due to be available through learndirect's national network of learning centres in the third quarter of 2005.
