Cylix Equality & Diversity in Practice courses revised for 2008
Jan 2008
Since their launch in 2005, Cylix's readymade Equality & Diversity in Practice courses have become the market leading equality and diversity e-learning resources, being deployed by dozens of organisations and used by tens of thousands of people.
For 2008, Cylix have announced the launch of revised versions of the courses, which incorporate all recent changes to equality legislation and also provide enhanced coverage of several key topics, including prejudice and genuine occupational requirements.
“We're committed to ensuring that our Equality & Diversity in Practice courses reflect all current legislation and best practice guidelines,” says Steven Price, Cylix's Managing Director. “We've always regularly updated the courses, but this is the most substantial single revision we've carried out since the courses were launched.”
In order to ensure the revised courses hit the right mark, Cylix commissioned employment law solicitors at Bevans Solicitors and diversity experts at Acas to review the courses and make recommendations for updates. “Working closely with recognised experts and practitioners has enabled us to ensure that the revised courses are accurate and comprehensive” comments Price. “We’re confident that the revised courses set new standards in the field of equality and diversity e-learning.”
