ITQ Planner

Developed for Ufi, ITQ Planner is a comprehensive online planning tool for the new ITQ qualification. It includes a range of sophisticated planning tools, diagnostic utilities, questionnaires and resources to make the process of achieving the qualification as straightforward as possible. Innovative features include 'Monty', a context-sensitive assistant who guides candidates through each stage in the qualification.

Keyboard Tutor

Developed for UK Online Centres, Keyboard Tutor gives learners the chance to master the modern computer keyboard... and save the world while they're at it! Tackling each of the main functional areas of the keyboard, the course includes a series of highly interactive games that enable learners to gradually develop their confidence and skills using the keyboard. Featuring advanced accessibility features, web links to further sources of information and an electronic glossary of terms, the course was voted Runner-Up Online Solution of the Year at the 2004 WOLCE Awards.

e-Induction

Developed for the Victoria & Albert Museum, this highly interactive and visually engaging e-Induction course provides new-starters with a stimulating introduction to the Museum. Featuring an interactive interview with the Director of the Museum, more than 200 digitised photographs, and a range of advanced accessibility features, the course forms part of a comprehensive blended induction programme.

Note: this course was developed to run across an intranet or from CD-ROM, so runs quite slowly over an Internet connection.

ILM Certificate in Team Leading

Developed for Ufi, this course provides learners with everything they need to achieve the Institute of Leadership & Management Level 2 Introductory Certificate in Team Leading. Fully approved by ILM, the course includes over 10 hours of e-learning on topics ranging from problem solving to motivation, along with an online knowledge assessment, which learners must pass in order to achieve the qualification. Featuring sector-specific case studies, and collaborative exercises and assignments involving tutors and other learners, the course is a highly comprehensive online learning resource.

Equal Opportunites & Diversity

We worked with Manchester Metropolitan University to develop a series of three courses on equal opportunities and diversity. The courses form part of a comprehensive blended learning programme at the University, complementing existing workshops. They include realistic photo case studies to explore how the law applies in practice, quizzes to check understanding, web links to further sources of information, and a range of advanced accessibility features. All three courses integrate with WebCT, so usage data can be stored and viewed.

Job Seeker

Developed for UK Online Centres, Job Seeker provides learners with guidelines and tips to help them land their dream job. The course takes learners on a journey in which they accompany a case study character, Marco, as he attempts to find an ideal job. During this journey, they learn how to find suitable vacancies, complete application forms and write effective covering letters. The course includes a range of helpful features, including web links to further sources of help and information, an electronic glossary of terms, along with a print-out-and-keep course summary.

ILM Practical Manager Range

Developed for Ufi, the ILM Practical Manager Range is the first learning resource to offer complete coverage of all 77 segments included in ILM's popular First Line Management qualifications. As such, it comprises over 70 hours of online learning on subjects ranging from using IT applications through to defining an effective marketing strategy. Features include a sophisticated diagnostic utility enabling learners to build a programme of study that meets their needs, business case studies illustrating key learning points, and collaborative exercises and assignments involving tutors and other learners.

Diversity: Achieving success through valuing difference

Developed for Lloyds TSB, this highly interactive bespoke multimedia course was designed to communicate the business benefits of diversity to Lloyds TSB's 77,000 UK employees. Deployed on multimedia CD-ROM, the course features over 30 minutes of case study video, a range of highly interactive discovery learning exercises, along with a handy cross-cultural communication guidelines document.

Being a Call Centre Team Leader

We worked with Ufi to develop this interactive online course, which provides call centre team leaders with the knowledge and skills that they need to succeed in one of the most demanding and pressurised of business environments. With a total run-time of 15 hours, the course is made up of 14 modules on topics ranging from communication skills and recruitment, through to forecasting calls and adjusting call queuing systems. All modules integrate with Ufi's learning management system and feature realistic photo case studies, collaborative exercises, and interviews with real call centre professionals.
